Also known as caps, crowns are natural-looking
covers that fit snugly over teeth to conceal cracked,
discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. Crowns
provide support to damaged teeth. Ultimately,
crowns can improve the overall appearance of your
smile while making your teeth more resistant to
fractures.

An excellent alternative to crowns, veneers can
perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips,
correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity.
Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material
designed to slide over the teeth, look incredibly
natural, are long lasting, and are easy to apply.

Porcelain inlays and onlays are natural in appearance
and are used to restore teeth that may be weakened
by decay or large amalgam filling. Inlays are
used on teeth that have a small amount of decay,
and cover only one or two surfaces. Onlays are
used on the chewing surface of teeth that have
more extensive decay, and cover one or more cusps.
The porcelain inlay or onlay is cemented onto
the tooth, giving you a healthy looking smile.
They are durable and strong, protecting the tooth
from cracking or breaking. They can make a weakened
tooth very strong by very conservative tooth preparations.

Gone are the days when tooth ailments and cavities
could only be treated with metal fillings. Today,
modern, tooth-colored fillings made of durable
resin or porcelain can be bonded to your teeth
for a stronger, more natural-looking effect. These
revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable
and are easy to apply.

Many of us feel that our smiles are most striking
when our teeth look especially white, but unfortunately,
soft drinks, coffee, tea, and tobacco can leave
behind stains. To help you restore your gleaming,
bright white smile and to give you an added boost
of confidence, we offer take-home whitening procedures.
First, we take impressions of your teeth. We use
the impressions to make custom-fit trays for you
to wear overnight with the bleaching solution.
During your treatment, we will periodically check
your progress to ensure you are getting the results
you desire. When treatment is complete, you will
have the dazzling white smile you dreamed of.

Do you get scared and anxious just thinking about
going to the dentist? If so, sedation dentistry
may be right for you. First, we'll set up a consultation
with Dr. Spitzer. We will give you a small pill
to take before your appointment so that you are
drowsy and comfortable by the time you get to
the office. Once you are sedated, Dr. Spitzer
will begin treatment while our clinical staff
monitors your vital signs. When your procedure
is complete, you will awaken with little or no
memory of your visit and a glowing, healthier
smile.

Nitrous oxide is another option for patients who
are afraid of going to the dentist. Also known
as laughing gas, nitrous oxide causes a state
of relaxation. You will be awake and able to respond,
but you will not feel a thing.

This dental tool allows our skilled doctors to take pictures of your teeth and then display the images on a screen for you to see. This allows you to see what the dentist sees in your mouth. This tool helps our patients to better understand any dental heath problems and treatment options. This technology allows for issues to be seen as well as discussed and can help make your experience at the dentist as efficient and productive as possible.
